What is application software ?

Application software consists of programs designed to make users more productive and/or assist with personal tasks

• ·        To assist with graph and multimedia project
• ·        To support home, personal and education task
• ·        To facilities communication

Application software in various form :-

• ·      Package software - mass producer , copy right complete
• ·   Custom software - specific function use programmer to tailor specific custom software . Eg- generate bill , purchase order
• ·   Web application - allow user to use software through internet . Eg - email, google drive
• ·     Open source software - provided foe use , modification and redistribution . Eg – open office
• ·      Shareware – No cost for trail period , payment needed after trail . Eg – anti virus , Auto CAD
• ·       Freeware – copyrighted software provided at no cost to user by an individual / company that retain all right to the software . Eg – skype, whatsapp
• ·      Public domain software – donated for public use , no copy right, anyone can copy .
